Kanami Mukumoto, CEO of PurE NeXus Inc., once suffered from poor health due to an unhealthy diet. In her mid-20s, she was diagnosed with a wheat allergy, which led her to focus on improving her eating habits. During this journey, she discovered superfoods and became more aware of the importance of nutrition. She obtained the JLESA-certified Health Food Meister qualification and began sharing superfood recipes and cooking videos on social media as the influencer "YUNAYUA."
To further spread the appeal of brown rice and superfoods, she built a brown rice brand from scratch and conducted a limited-time sales event in Ginza. Later, she opened GEN-TEN in Shibuya Scramble Square.
She believes that in today’s world, it is not enough for food to simply taste good. It must also be environmentally friendly and truly beneficial to human health, as these factors significantly shape the future of food.
GEN-TEN’s core message is to encourage people to pause and return to the "origin" of food and the environment. As Team GEN-TEN, we are committed to our slogan, "Returning to the origin of food and the environment," and will continue working to create a kinder and more sustainable food culture.
